Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) Program 8 – week

In this fast-paced world, we often forget to extend the same love and understanding to ourselves as we do to those around us. That’s why we’re here to help you embark on a journey of self-compassion and mindfulness.

Through our comprehensive 8-week program, you will learn powerful tools and techniques to embrace self-kindness, build emotional resilience, and cultivate a sense of inner calm. We will guide you through a series of interactive sessions, providing a safe and supportive space to explore your inner landscape.

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) Program

The MSC program is scientifically-proven and developed by the groundbreaking research and clinical work of Kristin Neff, PhD and Christopher Germer, PhD, the world’s leading experts on mindfulness-based self-compassion. The program integrates human growth and development studies into cutting-edge scientific research such as neuroscience, positive psychology, and behavioral science. It is specifically designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion.

About the Training

MSC Program includes guided meditations, short talks, experiential exercises, group discussion and practices in pairs or small groups.

Schedule

Live Online Zoom Sessions:

8 weekly 2.5-hour Sessions, Plus a 3-hour Mini Retreat, Total of 8 weeks.

Retreat will be held on Sunday on Dec. 10, 2023.

Certification

We will provide a certificate upon the completion of the MSC Program. Attendance is needed for at least 7 sessions and the retreat for those who like to receive their certification.

Meet Your Teachers

 

Jie Meng is a certified Mindfulness Meditation teacher with MMTCP (The Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield), a MSC and MFY /MSC-T trained teacher, and a certified Vinyasa Yoga instructor. In addition, she runs her well-being cultural exchange company TheOne; She wants to live as a light and believes that Light is your very nature and true self.

 

Erva Ozkan is a trained MSC teacher and worked as a researcher in the biomedical and contemplative science field for five years. As she believes that life is continuous learning, she tries to cultivate compassion and mindfulness in her daily life and meet the experiences with kindness and openness as a part of authentic self.
